Each year our students are challenged to raise extraordinary amounts of money to support the Fine Arts Productions and choir activities. Last year, our students raised over $50,000 through advertisements, ticket sales, and poinsettia sales. This year they face a monumental task of raising nearly $100,000 to be able to support the productions and their trip to Hawaii. This task is only made possible through the donations and support of over 150 local businesses. We would like to say thank you to these businesses. Without your support, our program would not exist.

The Founders Society (Gifts of $10,000 or more)
The Fine Arts Program at South Garland is embarking on a massive capital improvement program. Each year our program rents sound, lighting, and video equipment for its productions. The costs for rental of the equipment are over $30,000. Given that the financial resources of our students is becoming increasingly limited, we are striving to raise $150,000 over the next 5 years so that permanent equipment may be installed. This would eliminate the yearly expenses that require enormous amounts of time and energy to be spent fundraising, provide highly talented students with exceptional equipment, and allow all of our students regardless of socioeconomic background to participate more fully in our excellent program.
